Advance 5650; ca. 1950; Design by Rosemary Odell for Ann Blyth in Universal-International's "Katie" [note: the movie was released under the name Katie Did It]. Featured in Photoplay Magazine. Misses' flared seven gore skirt in long or street length with or without underskirt has back zipper closure and waistband with self fabric or purchased belt. Contrasting fitted button front blouse in sheer or lace material has short raglan sleeves and low and wide rounded neckline in front with bateau neck in back. Self or contrast band on sleeves and neck with front neckline notch. Flared back bolero jacket has stand-up wing collar, front button closure and cuffed three-quarter set-in sleeves. Blouse and bolero with novelty braid or purchased bias velvet binding. 14 unprinted pattern pieces.
