Advance 6590; ca. 1953; Misses' Skirt: Skirt with flat front has unpressed side pleats which continue to back - Deep overlapping center pleat gives added back fullness - Pocket inserted under pleats at side front seams, back zipper closing. (View 1) Make ni plain, plaid or lengthwise striped fabric - For evening make in net as skirt or overskirt - May be trimmed with novelty press-ons or appliques. (View 2) Specially cut on crosswise for border print or stripe.
