Advance American Designer 6739; ca. 1954; Original Design by John Moore of Talmack, Inc. The New York Times - Pattern of the Times - Designers Series. Misses' Dress. Fitted sleeveless bodice - A wide V neckline in front with a low round neckline in back - Deep shoulder fold drops over armhole and is seamed at shoulder to softly rolled back collar - Full, flared-gathered skirt - Three sections in front, two in back - Pocket in right side seam - Side zipper closing - Narrow self or novelty belt - For billowing fullness, wear a petticoat.

Suggested Fabrics: firm heavy cotton, faille, taffeta, slipper satin, satin brocade, moiré, novelty firm rayon or silk.
