Advance 6980; ca. 1955; New fitted long torso with side front seam fitting and high bust dart is indented at the waistline. The wide neckline curves into the front buttoned bodice. The long, tighter sleeves are set into a high armhole with slightly dropped shoulder line. Zipper for sleeve closing. Circular skirt with unpressed pleats is cut in 8 sections- extremely wide at hemline. Bodice is finished at lower edge with narrow fold and fastened with a buckle. View 1 has short sleeves. View 2 has long tight sleeves- same armhole fitting.
