Advance Designer Series 7011; ca. early 1950s; Unprinted Pattern. Original Design by Gloria Swanson of Puritan Dress Co.. The New York Times. Pattern of the Times • Designer Series Half-Size Dress. Softly curving yoke descends from built up neckline and simulates a short bolero. Buttoned self-bands at front of dart-fitted bodice forms flattering neckline. Short sleeve cut in one with front yoke and back bodice. Four gore, moderately flared skirt. (View 1) Make it glamorous in Lace and Lined. Cut the pattern pieces in lace and again in the lining material. Place the lace and lining together and handle as one fabric. (View 2) Contrast bow in stripes or other fabrics.
