Advance 7917; 1950s; ca. 1956; Misses’ and Women’s Dress. Flattering, wide V-neckline… collar rolls up on shoulder, or pulls down on arm. Dress front buttons to hem, has bodice and sleeve in one. Wide six-gore skirt with inverted pleat over each gore, giving deep unpressed box pleat effect. Self or novelty belt. (1) Three-quarter length sleeve, all one fabric. (2) Short sleeve, contrast collar. (3) Three-quarter sleeve, contrast detachable collar.
