Advance 7939; ca. 1956; The same dress. . .It's the trim that makes the difference! (1) Plain dress . . .wide V-neckline front and back, short sleeve set into drop-shoulder armhole, four-piece, flared gathered skirt. Center-back zipper, self or novelty belt. Or trimmed . . . (2) Neckline and shirt have wide bands of galloon eyelet or lace, ribbon sash . . . and (3) Self-fabric bands trim skirt. For sized 4 and 6, (V2, V3), only one band on skirt.
