Advance 8125; ca. 1956; THE EMPIRE DRESS AND TWO WAYS TO MAKE IT ! DRESS with empire waist has scoop neckline front and back. Princess line skirt. Gored at back for extra flare. Optional skirt lining. Side zipper. (V1) Tailored version with three-quarter length sleeves – front buttoned sleeveless dickey with small collar. (V2) Dress with wide puffed sleeves. Adaptation of original design worn by Audrey Hepburn in "War and Peace".
