Advance 8146; ca. 1956; JUNIOR AND MISSES’ DRESS. SEVEN WAYS TO MAKE AND TRIM THE SHEATH DRESS: Bodice and sleeves in one... surplice effect at the front, slight blousing at the back waist. Side detail in the skirt gives you a choice of closings. Patch pockets, neckline bow, cummerbund, side drape--these can give the sheath dress a completely new look. Three-quarter length, cuffed, or short sleeves.
