Advance 8397; ca. 1957; Misses' and Women's Dress. Side-swept draping, diagonal lines, make a figure flattering dress for all sizes. Bodice and sleeves cut in one, underarm gusset. V-neckline forms high surplice drape. Slim skit cascades from hip section at one side, has panel back. (V1) Three-quarter length sleeves. (V2) Short sleeves with cluster of gathers. Choose soft fabrics of all types.
