Bridal Elegance 1244; ©1980; Skirt Variations with Gathered or Flat Train in Two Lengths.  Skirt with Gathered or Flat Train is desinged with View 1 - Scalloped Overskirt with bottom flounce or ruffle; View 2 - Scalloped Overskirt with cascade of flounces or ruffles down back of train; View 3 - Slashed Overskirt with side inserts of border fabric or ruffles; View 4 - Overskirt of Galloon Lace (45" - 100" wide), cut in one piece; View 5 - Basic Skirt with trim.  Views 1-3 are constructed over a basic skirt lining 95).  Views 1-5 may be constructed with regular length train (6 ft. train from waist).  Views 1, 2, 5 may also be constructed with extra length train (8 ft. train from waist).  Galloon Lace requires underskirt and flounce or ruffle for 45" fabric.  Galloon versions are cut in one piece using only front and side pattern.  They are not as full as the basic skirt.  Bodice pattern pieces may be worked around skirt pattern pieces, therefore, additional fabric for basic bodice may not be needed.
