1940s vintage sewing pattern skirt Penelope Rose

Butterick 1908; ca. 1942; Women's & Misses' 4-Piece or 6-Gored Skirt. A trimly tailored four-piece skirt features an inverted pleat in each piece giving you two in front and two in back.  Or you many choose an alternate six-gored version with an inverted pleat down the center front and back panels. Blouse is Butterick 1876.
