Butterick 4244; 1940s; Unprinted Pattern. Girls' Two-Piece Tailored Suit. Suit for the young set: cardigan type jacket with three-button closing; flap pockets; belt across the back; and slit in the back seam. The skirt has a group of pleats in the front; three-gore back. Jacket and skirt are in contrast (B).
