Butterick 4408; ca. 1948; Set of Yokes, Flares and Flounces for Skirts. Six smart ways to lengthen skirts. (View A) Yoke for lengthening a dirndl skirt. (B) Peplum covers a false yoke. (C) Contrast bodice section and peplum with a false yoke on the skirt beneath. (D) Deep pleated flounce. (E) Circular flounces. Contrasting yoke and inset flare add both length and fulness to a skirt.
