Butterick 4801 A

Butterick 4801; 1970s; Semi-fitted, slightly flared dress, in below mid-knee length or top, gathered at front into one-piece yoke, has shaped standing collar, slightly extended shoulders, front buttoned closing and topstitch trim. With or without pockets in side seams and self tie belt. Slightly flared skirt, in below mid-knee length, is darted into waistband.

Suggested fabrics: Soft or Crisp fabrics such as Broadcloth, Muslin, Challis, Jersey, Chambray, Madras, Gingham, Lightweight Double Knits and Oxford Cloth.

Additional notions required: DRESS or TOP – 15mm buttons (ten for dress, size for top), straight seam binding (optional). SKIRT – 18cm skirt zipper, one hook & eye closure and bias seam binding (optional).

The pattern has 9 pieces and 2 instruction sheets.
