Butterick 5258; ca. 1950; Soft Dress Features Batwing Sleeves. Dramatic batwing sleeves, cut in one with the body of the dress, lend the new, above waist fulness. Tiny, pointed collar accents the plunging neckline. Four-piece skirt has two soft pleats in front. "Quick & Easy" to sew. Reissued in 1999 as Butterick 6238.
