Butterick 5492; circa 1950s; Tailored dress: Asymmetric bodice detail. 10 pieces.

Unusual bodice highlights this one-piece dress. High-standing, mandarin-type collar; one-sided, rectangular button closing; and deeper armhole sleeves that button-cuff in (A), are long and uncuffed in (B). Five-piece skirt.

Suggested Fabrics: Velveteen, crepe, shantung, linen, pique, lightweight wools
