Butterick 5507; ca. 1950; SWIRL-SKIRTED DRESS WITH ITS OWN APRON. The newest fashion is the apron and dress duo. (A) Full-skirted dress has a deep-ruffled decollete neckline. The billowy, ruffle-edged apron makes it a charming hostess costume. (B) Scallops outline the neck and brief sleeves.
