Butterick 5696; ca. early 1950s; Tailored Shirtwaist Blouse: Tucked Front. A wonder of a shirtwaist, tailored like a man's dress shirt with wing-tipped collar and rows of vertical tucks down the front. You can underscore the collar with a string-tie. (A) Long shirt sleeves. (B) Short sleeved blouse.
