Butterick 5740; ca. 1952; Sizes 12 to 18 (an early "one size fits all"). An unusual one-piece dress with no waist seam. A dress that looks like two triangles when it is unbelted, simple to make and easy to wear. The bare shoulders make it perfect for daytime sunning or date-time dancing. Large pockets on the full skirt.
