Butterick 5768; ca. 1951; "Quick & Easy" Four-Gore Skirt. Fashion-wise four-gore, semi-dirndlish skirt to make in solid or patterned fabric. Front and back follow the bias grain whereas the sides are straight. This is very effective with checks and plaids. Huge, slant-cuffed pockets.
