Butterick 5792; ca. 1951; One-Piece Casual: Flattering New Neckline. “Quick & Easy” dress that will serve your needs all season long. The very unusual neckline has a “custom made” look and is very flattering. The cropped kimono sleeves are wing-cuffed. Four-gore skirt is dirndlish in front.
"An oval neckline with novel cut out detail is the focal point of this soft skirted charmer. The smooth line sleeves are the new long-short length", as stated in Butterick Fashion News July 1951.
