Butterick 5865; ca. 1970; Semi-fitted, A line dress in above knee length with curved over the bust seaming has slit jewel neckline. Sleeveless or short sleeves. Purchased belt. Semi-fitted jacket with round collar, front button closing and full length sleeve has same seaming as dress. Top stitch trim.

Suggested fabrics: Soft or Crisp fabircs such as Medium Weight Wool, Double Knits, Brocades & Synthetic Mixtures. Additional notions required: JACKET - Four 1 inch buttons, snap fasteners, buttonhole twist thread.  DRESS - 22 inch invisible or neckline zipper, hooks and eyes, buttonhole twist thread, seam binding and purchased belt (optional). The pattern has 20 pieces and 2 instruction sheets.
