Butterick 5933; ca. 1951; Long and Short Slip: Bouffant Petticoat. View (A) For bouffant dresses, a smooth-to-the-hipline petticoat that can be made with or without a crinoline or taffeta lining. (B) Floor-length slip for formals. Skirt is flared. (C) Short, day-length version of the slip.
