Butterick 5940; ©1987; Dress above ankle or floor length, has close fitting bodice, side front and side back seams, lined peplum, straight skirt, back button/loop and zipper closing, back attached bow with knot, hemline godet and long sleeves with stiffening at cap and button/loop at lower edge. A: underdress, lined underbodice and purchased trim.
