Butterick 5989; 1950s; Teen Age Flare-Skirted Casual: Tucked Bodice. The flare-skirted, feminized shirtwaister that serves your day-into-date needs. Finely tucked bodice has full, button-cuffed, bracelet-length sleeves in (A), is sleeveless in (B). (C) Contrast collar and cuffs on the sleeves.

Suggested Fabrics: Chambray, Cotton Broadcloth, Dimity, Cotton Voile, Heavy Sheers, Crepe, Shantung, Pongee, Surah, Sheer or Lightweight Wools.
