Butterick 6231; ca. 1935; Day Dress has below-the-calf, narrow skirt with inverted pleats at the center front and back at the hem. Long sleeve style has center bodice back inverted pleat and welt pockets with flaps. Short sleeve style has shoulder yokes,inverted sleeve pleats and patch pockets. All versions have front shoulder tucks and decorative front band.
