Butterick 6723; ca. 1980s; Children's Spacesuit Costume. Fitted jumpsuit and jumper have round neckline, extended shoulders and optional armhole bands. Jumpsuit has elasticized ankles and purchased self gripping fastener closing. Jumper has back purchased self gripping fastener closing. Neckband, cap, wrist bands, ankle band and shoe covers all of contrasting fabric have self gripping fasteners, except shoe covers. Shaped cape can be worn with any view, has attached shoulder straps with self gripping fasteners. Edge stitching and top stitching.. Purchased tops, trims and appliques.
