Butterick 6788; ca. 1980; MISSES' SKIRT: Straight skirt, seven inches (18cm) below mid-knee or evening length. A: has front and back gathered into straight waistband, back zipper closing, side seam pockets and side hemline slits. B and C, front wrap-skirts have front and back gathered into buttoned straight waistband, side seam pockets and shaped hemline. Topstitching. Purchased tops and belt. Suggested fabrics include soft or crisp fabrics such as gabardine, crepe, linen, challis, corduroy, etc..
