Butterick 8541

Butterick 8541; ca. 1939; Frock for women and misses, with two-piece skirt having inverted pleats at front. Instructions for making flowers included.

Optional accessories include jabot and frilled collar, ascot, small contrasting collar and contrasting band to button over dress buttons and cute flowers to wear over buttons.

Dress is shown with either short sleeves, buttoned elbow length sleeves with band or wrist length sleeves. Suggested fabrics include organdie, silk, crepe, linen, sharkskin, taffeta, satin and velveteen.
