Butterick 8580; ca. 1939; A slightly fitted coat for women.. single or double breasted, neckline in four styles.. one or two seam sleeve.. let out seams provide for letting out the bust and hips 1 1/2 inch if needed.. . made to accommodate a frock underneath.... A and D plain or mixture wool coatings.. B velvet, velveteen, pile or plain or mixture wool coatings.. fur or fabric collar.. and C any fabric suggested for B and collar of long or short hair fur, flat fur or fabric fur.
