California Couture Pattern T-101; ca. late 1960s; Pictured here is Spring's most wanted fashion, the coat dress. Designed by Travilla, whose distinctive styles are sold throughout the world to women of taste. This coat dress was designed in featherweight wool, but it can be equally distinctive when fashioned of silk, sculptured cotton or in a paled tone of Alaskine for evening wear. The skirt embodies the season's most fluid lines by use of inverted pleats, and the neckline stands away from the throat as a perfect frame for jewels.
