Coats & Clark's Stitch in Time, PUSSYFOOT BOOTS, 1956. 

8.5" x 11" leaflet has pattern & directions for a side-zippered boot.  Description extracted from the booklet: "a Western version (toe separation omitted, glamour added) of the white cotton tabis the Japanese wear indoors.  They can b e made in any material --- from duck to brocade from percale to blanketing".
