DuBarry 2254B; ca. 1939; MISSES' AND WOMEN'S HOUSEDRESS OR HOUSECOAT. A flattering design in either length.  V neckline is finished with a rolled collar, closed in a slimming surplice line. The youthful ruffle is trimmed with rick rack. Flared skirt and bodice join skirt belt, which buttons at side front. A ruffled patch pocket is shown.  Sleeves may be set-in and short; or, as in the short version, a rick rack trimmed cap sleeve.
