DuBarry 5052; ca. 1941; Women's Dress. Skillfully designed to flatter as well as slenderize - this soft afternoon style. Gathers accent the front panel of the skirt, which extends above the waistline in a yoke-like effect. Tucks introduce fullness in the bodice. Long, plain, or short, gathered sleeves.
