Upper edges of ruffles are gathered and joined to one another. Skirt is gathhered at upper edge and joined to blouse below natural waistline. Fig. 1: sash is gathered and joined in front tuck at waistline. Short sleeves are used. Neck may be trimmed with rick-rack braid. Fig II three-quarter sleeves are used. Bows trim neck.
