DuBarry 5672; ca. 1942; Child's Pinafore or Apron. Pinafore or Apron has a square neck in front and a lapped back closing. An inset belt joins the dirndl skirt and bodice. Patch pockets trims skirt. Tie-ends are stitched to inset belt and side back and ties in a bow. Apron is short length and has no bodice side sections. Pinafore has complete bodice and braid or rick-rack may be used to trim neck, top of pocket and outer edges of shoulder ruffles. 9 pieces.
