Butterick5333

Butterick 5333; ca. 1951; Three Piece Play Suit: Blouse, Shorts and Skirt.

From Butterick Pattern Book Spring 1951: Separates on the sports scene ... and, as always, a practical idea. Here, the separates - shirt, shorts, and button-front skirt - come in the same pattern envelope, can be made all in one fabric or with a contrast theme. (You can make a sleeveless version of the blouse, too, which knot-ties to bare the midriff to the sun). This is the ideal outfit for your vacation wardrobe, since it minimizes packing requirements. Try the outfit in cool, checked cotton.
