McCall Kaumagraph Embroidery Transfer Pattern #1238 1940s "Small Animals for Outline Stitch"

Pattern includes 20 motifs, as follows: 1 pair each of A, C, F, J,K, from 2 1/2 to 3 1/4 inches high, and 1 each of B, D, E, G, H, I, L, M, and N, from 2 inches high (bear E) to 4 1/2 inches high (duck D), and one motif not shown on the envelope. These amusing little animals are delightful for trimming children's play-suits, overalls, aprons, bibs, and everyday frocks. In this collection are honey bears, wise little owls, ducks, birds, a kitten, squirrel, skunk, and a puppy. Quick to work, because outline stitch is used for the most part. Bright colors are suggested.

One large transfer sheet measures about 21 inches wide and 13 inches high. Instructions are printed on the back of the envelope. Instructions in Spanish and French are included, printed on a separate sheet of tissue-paper. Copyright @ 1945.
