Simplicity 1242; ©1944; Children's and Girls' Bolero, Skirt and Blouse: Binding finishes the edges of the long-sleeved bolero. Lining is optional. The all-around pleated skirt has a box pleat at center front and inverted pleat at center back. Suspenders button to the waist band. The blouse features a Peter Pan collar and a buttoned front band. Lace edging may be used to outline collar and front band. Choose long or short sleeves. Reissued in 1948 as Simplicity 2209.
