Simplicity 1681; ©1946; Teen-Age One-Piece Dress: The dart fitted bodice boasts a neck with a back opening. The dirndl is styled with two large gathered pockets. Style I has a high neckline and the back opening fastens with bias tie ends. Extended shoulders accent the tailored bodice. A purchased belt is used. Style II is made with a sweetheart neck, fastening in the back with loops and buttons. A top applied band trims the neck and is repeated on the extended shoulder. Small bows pull through the shoulder seams.
