Simplicity 3074; ©1949; Men's Jacket and Lumber Jacket: A slide fastener front closing and two pockets with button down flaps are features of the jacket which is finished with convertible collar. The wristbands on the long sleeves lap over and button, and top-stitching is used as trimming. A lining is optional. Style 1 jacket is hip-length. In Style 2 the lumber jacket is slightly gathered at the lower front edge and joins to a waistband. A pleat adds fullness to the pocket front.
