Simplicity 3101; ©1949; Teen-Age Coat and Topper: Darts at the shoulder fit the topper or coat which is styled with an inverted pleat in back and soft pleats at the back waistline. A small pointed collar and double-breasted front closing are featured and top-stitching is used as trimming. Flap-trimmed patch pockets finish the lower edge of the jacket front. Style 1 has a half belt in back. In Style 2 a purchased belt encircles the waist.
