Simplicity 3551; ca. early 1940s; Misses' and Women's Blouse Set. Style I is collarless and neck and front edges are finished with applied band. Back extends over shoulders in yoke effect and joins the gathered fronts. Blouse is gathered to a straight belt. Patch pockets are optional . Bishop sleeves are perforated for shorter length, tucked at lower edge. Style II is tucked in front. Back extends over shoulders, forming yoke and joins the fronts. Neck is finished with a collar. Bishop sleeves are gathered at top and perforated for shorter length; tucked at lower edge.
