Simplicity 4040

Simplicity 4040; ca. 1941; Unprinted Pattern. Girl's Dress. Two rows of buttons travel from the square neckline to the waist in smart double-breasted fashion. The skirt, very fully gathered, meets the bodice at the waistline and is trimmed with slash pockets. The collar, which trims Style II may be attached or detachable. Sleeves may be long and gathered to a wrist band, or short and pleated at the lower edge.
