Simplicity 4090; ca. early 1940s; Misses' and Women's Dress. Pointed yokes cap the sleeves at the front, and create a smooth shoulder line. Gathers are released from the yokes for bodice softness. The neckline is trimmed with a crisp, tailored collar which descends to a buttoned, band closing. The skirt, box pleated at the front, joins the bodice at the natural waistline under a belt.
