Simplicity Designer's Pattern 8110; ©1949; Misses' One-Piece Dress and Cape: The short-sleeved top, which has a high boat neck front and back, is joined to the skirt underneath a wide belt, giving a two-piece effect. The blouse has gathers on either side of the front, providing fullness for the bust. The skirt, which has a front and back center seam, is draped up into the belt, giving a peg-top effect. The cape is elbow-length with a small flap collar, and is tied at the throat with a bow. It is lined in the same material as the bodice.
