Simplicity 2810; ©1949; Darts at the front underarm and back waistline fit the bodice which is gathered at the front waistline. Cap sleeves, cut in one with the bodice, and a contrasting yoke at the neck are featured. The four gored skirt falls in an easy flare. In Style 1, the eyelet yoke forms a low neckline. A shaped belt fastens at the back with a buckle. The contrasting yoke in Style 2 forms a high neckline and contrast is repeated in a deep band at the lower edge of the skirt. The belt may be purchased or made.
