Spadea 149; ©1965; Here is a costume by Jo Copeland that is really an outstanding design. Notice how the simple shift is cleverly constructed with bias through the midriff section. The zipper is placed on the left side. The accompanying buttonless jacket is also cut on the bias. A marvelous outfit for anytime of year and suitable for many types of fabrics fro linens to woolens.
Fabric Suggestions: Linen, Piqué, Regular Sqaure Checked Rayons and Silks, Wool Crepe. Lining: China Silk, Crepe, Fine Taffeta.
