Vogue Basic Design 1297; ca. 1976; Misses' Skirt. A-line three inches below mid-knee length skirt has yoke and pleat variations. With or without waistband carriers. Back zipper closing and topstitch trim. Purchased tops, belts and scarf.
Suggested fabrics: Soft or Crisp fabrics such as Gabardine, Flannel, Tweed, Double Knits, Corduroy, Wool Crepe, Denim, Broadcloth and Linen. Additional notions required: 18cm skirt or 18 – 22cm invisible zipper, hooks and eyes, 25mm belt for A and B, seam binding for B and D. The pattern has 18 pieces and 2 instruction sheets.
